The 1861 Census of England and Wales
The 1861 Census of England and Wales was taken on the evening of Sunday 7th April 1861 with all persons recorded in the residence in which they spent the night (rather than their home address if they were staying elsewhere).

Census returns from the 1861 census for individuals of the surnames Jacomb, Jacombs, Jacombe and Jacom and Jacomb-Hood, and also miss-spellings which have been spotted will be provided on Jacomb.com.

Currently the 1861 census transcripts on Jacomb.com do not cover any complete counties but consist of those listed below, with further entries from around the country to follow in the near future.
