A section that I hope will grow over time as information comes to light. The records below are currently records of university education of those with the surname Jacomb and its various permutations. This section should cover all forms of education (primary school, secondary school, college, university etc), not just higher education. I've abstracted some of the information for clarity, added to and expanded it a little, meaning there often will be additional information to that listed below to be found in the original publications noted.

I'd like to hear from anybody who can provide details about where any deceased Jacombs/ Jacombss/ Jacombes/ Jacoms/ Jacomb-Hoods were educated. Drop an email to Matt at webmaster@jacomb.com. Don't worry about not having a published reference to go with it as most details are likely to come from personal knowledge. Records of education at particular institutions are not widely published, those below are the exceptions and make easy prey for starting this page with!
